BEFORE AND AFTER! Brisco arrived yesterday! Thanks go out to Norah for pulling and temp fostering. And HUGE thanks go out to Vicki (Bookers new mom) for bringing Brisco from Houston to San Antonio!! You can see that someone had apparently tried to start shaving Brisco down (where his back is shorter, but starting to grow out). This meant that the mats left behind were hanging off of his sides, pullin on his skin - causing great discomfort. It didnt take me long to shave the mats off - you just have to have the right tools! =) Maybe 10 minutes tops. And you can see where Briscos skin is all ready and inflammed on his side, where the mats were pulling. Its not a complete job - I still need to even it out and do his tail. But I just wanted to get the big mats off of Brisco tonight, so he doesnt have to suffer one more night. Brisco was a trooper for the grooming - I didnt have to muzzle him and I didnt need Lori to help hold, I was able to do it myself. So a pretty good little boy!! Beth
