BEGINNING POTTERY BASIC WHEEL THROWING Workshops taught by Diane Hornby 3 Working SESSIONS Limited to two students, 16 years of age or older Cost per student - $90.00 In the wheel-throwing class you will learn how to make/do: Preparing the clay Centering Opening and pulling up Finishing and trimming Glazing by Dipping or Hand-painting and Embellishing each vessel – feet, handles, stencils, stamps Day 1: Throw all 4 pots on the wheel and cover with plastic Day 2: Remove the pots from bats and trim the bottoms, add handles, etc Day 3: Glaze all 4 pieces Wear old clothes!
