BELLE’S PATISSERIE STATEMENT We have received a few queries requesting withdrawal of our certification of Belle’s Patisserie as it is allegedly funding the State of Israel. SANHA certification is determined by strict compliance to Halaal requirements which includes disclosures of ingredients, supervision, monitoring and auditing. It is not determined by extraneous factors such as religion, politics, lifestyle of the applicants, financial audits etc. As there has been no breach on the Halaal requirements we reject such calls as malicious and unjust. We trust the above clarifies the issue and appeal to consumers to follow the Islamic injunction of verifying information before circulating.
