BENEFITS OF BOTH FORMS OF WORKOUT! Ravi Seshadri, Director of Bharat Thakurs artistic Yoga, UAE, on air on Radio 4, 89.1 FM, Dubai. In this session, Ravi begins with an introduction to the various offerings of Bharat Thakur Artistic Yoga like the Himalayan Challenge, RED and so on. He further informs that Yoga is all about increasing the chances of a person to be happy, healthy and have a sense of well-being. A regular practice of Yoga brings about stress relief and a relaxed mind and body. Further, Yoga is an Aerobic ( in the presence of Oxygen) kind of workout which means that it increases the heart rate, makes you sweat and increases blood circulation but without making you fatigued. This energizes the muscles through breathing while working out. As opposed to this, Anaerobic workout involves intense effort in such a way that the oxygen breathed in , is not sufficient and then the bodys blood sugar in the body starts getting used up. This helps to reduce weight quickly and builds muscles ( For example Gymmming). Ravi reveals that when Dr. Bharat Thakur started Artistic Yoga, he was clear that he wanted to combine the benefits of both forms of workout. Keeping this in mind, Artistic Yoga has several Yoga based programs which couple the benefits of the two forms. This is done with the help of elements of core Yoga, specially designed stretches, postures done in cardiovascular manner, body warm ups and so on. Ravi ends with a tip of the day regarding muscular cramps which can be very painful. Cramps can happen due to fatigue or dehydrated body. A simple remeddy for this can be a mixture of Apple cider Vinegar, honey and water. This can be taken before a workout. It increases the potassium levels in the body and is also a very good metabolism booster which increases the fat burn! So much Useful Info!
