He says it was an easy and inspirational choice. Having spent time in Sankt Gallen as a young student and later on coming back on numerous occasions to Weggis in the summer or skiing the Swiss alps in the winter. Weggis was his choice of heart. His love for Switzerland is especially apparent in his many of landscape prints which will be on display at the PHW... He has caught the simple beauty of Weggis. The yellow park bench by the ”Schiffstation” overlooking the Vierwaldstättersee and the alps... or shown his love for the typically Swiss... being fascinated by the many small hills ( Hügelie ) at the top of the village, with its planted trees on top Bennt Bengtsson style is quite unique and can best be described as a mixture of conceptional art, expressionistic art, abstract art... even if he himself wants to stay clear of ”art labels” He likes to say ” I paint fragments... floating freely in the space of time” Wether it be oil, aquarelle, pencil drawings or prints. Or even sculpture. His ”language” is apparent... regardless of which technique he uses PHW are proud to present his new collection of Fine Art Prints ( 50 x 60 ) which have been printed in a exclusive limited edition of only 1/13 per motif.
