BEWARE!!!! A lot of scam is going on lately. He/she calls you and tells u he is a former colleague or class mate. He then asks u for a favour. He goes ahead with the scam. That he use to work with a company in Ghana but he is now in Gabon or South Africa and he use to supply the company some spare parts, like caterpillar bearings or machine filters. He then tells uou to help him supply the parts to that company. He will then give u a certain telephone number, purported to be for a store keeper. The store keeper then takes over from the first scammer. They then ask you to prefinance for samples of the spare parts. The lowest price for such parts is in the range of $500 to $1000. They then promise you that the white man whos the manager of the company, after seeing the samples will immediately order for dozens so look for money to provide the samples immediately. They will then take you to a hide out or a shop and if uou are able to pay for the samples, they will tell uou they want to show them to the white man and will call u after that. They will then go back to the shop and tell the shop owner that those parts could not fit so they collect the money back. Ask me how you will be able to get your money back. This unfortunate ordeal just happened to one of my friends but one guy has been arrested by the Buffalo Unit of the Ghana Police. Waiting to be taken to court. Becareful of what u do, say and who uou relate to on any social media. The moment someone gets your number from any of these social media like facebook or whatsapp, they can do a lot that might be of good or bad to your life. BEWARE!!lo
