MY YOUNGER BROTHER AFTER HIS TREATMENT OF TONGUE CANCER NEEDED RADIATIONS WHICH KOKILABEN HOSPITAL QUOTED 60 THOUSAND AND TODAY WHEN HE PAID THE AMOUNT , HE WAS ASKED 1.9 LACS FOR THE TREATMENT .. NOW HAVE TO SEE FROM WHERE WE WILL GET IT DONE ..... WILL POST THE FULL DETAILS .. EVERY O NE SHOULD KNOW HOW THEY CHEAT PEOPLE .... Name Firoz Henry , case no CL/14007 , was treated at Tata Memorial Hospital on 1st of July and after that he needed radiation , for which he was sent to Kokilaben Hospital , reason being Tata Memorial was full till 19th August and he needed Radiation from 4th week onwards . Now There are 2 types of radiations first one is IMRT and second one is conventional . We were told that IMRT radiations is better and that they charge 1.2 lacs for the same , but since TATA MEMORIAL HAS referred the patient in general category he will be charged around 60 k . He paid first installment of 26 k and when he went today to pay the balance amount , he was told that in 50 , 60 k he will get only CONVENTIONAL radiations and not IMRT ... Imagine , how they behave with a patient .. the conventional radiations cost around 10 k in many reputed hospitals .
