BEWARE OF PICK POCKETS IN PARIS! Violent, gun related crime is very low here (the joy of living in a country with tough gun control laws) however, pick pockets run rampant, preying on unsuspecting travelers! Be vigilant, careful on the metro, buses, and at MAJOR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS! Yes, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Musee dOrsay and especially at the Arc de Triomphe where young white kids (called the Romas) holding clip boards will come up to you asking do you speak English? Thats a trick to distract you!! Shake your finger, dont stop and keep it moving! This guy caught the Romas working the Metro!
