BEWARE OF SCAM! My laptop pulled up an error when opening explorer. It Gave me a number to Call. I called it, the tech logged into my laptop. Says it was infected. My first thought was...I have a MAC. Apple products dont get viruses! He said this was new and He was an authorized specialist certified to fix this problem.i simultaneously texted my god brother, the brainiac Nwora Fairley. He researched while I stalled. The tech is now telling me that my laptop needs to be cleaned up, & what credit card would I like to use? I ask how much. He says $300 to fix and cover for 3 years, security on laptop, $500 for 6 years. I ask how much to just fix it? He says $149. I told him i didnt have that kind of money and Ill call later. Meanwhile, God bro is finalizing his research. The tech tries to convince me the importance of the service. I ended the call on instinct. Logged out of site that allowed him access and God bro calls me. It was a scam. God bro fixed my laptop over the phone with me in 3 Minutes.
