BEWARE of Miraculous Signs and Wonders... It may be a COUNTERFEIT one ! IF a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a MIRACULOUS signs or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, Let us follow other gods (gods you have not known--- HE (the prophet) INTRODUCES TO YOU Christian books/ a Jesus/a different gospel--- Galatians 1:6-12 ) and let us worship them, you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your GOD is testing you to find out whether you love HIM with all your heart and with all your soul... Deuteronomy 13:1-5. The greatest MIRACLE we should desire from GOD for our lives should not be the PHYSICAL healing, but the MIRACULOUS TRANSFORMATION of our selves, from the old corruptible ways we have inherited from our forefathers unto the ways, the likeness that of our LORD Jesus Christ. We need therefore to understand this miraculous TRANSFORMATION takes considerable period of time, thus needing our perseverance, and can be achieved only through the power of the Holy Scriptures, for which reason we should not be weary in reading our Bibles over and over again (Joshua 1:8, Colossians 3:16, Psalm 1:1-3). Let us not be so engrossed with this widespread HEALING crusades. Otherwise, though you may not like it, you may fall yourself a victim of these COUNTERFEIT miracles so rampant these finale days. Remember Elisha. He is a prophet of GOD, but he was suffering from an illness from which he died (2 Kings 13:14). Should we then seek better things for our selves ? Seek them not ! But seek GODs face always (Psalm 105:4), HIS kingdom and righteousness first, and all these things, including physical healing and our material needs will be added unto us as well. Lazarus was a poor man, much poorer than some of us are but he hold on to the truth (Revelation 3:11), and as we all know, later, when death came to him, his poverty ends (Luke 16:19-31). This why the Holy Scripture teaches us to be contented with what GOD has given us (Hebrews 13:5).
