BEYOND OUR COMFORT ZONE TO NEVER-ENDING GROWTH The Comfort Zone for an Aspirant is one who is unable or unwilling to make the corresponding Descent to any Ascent in consciousness. I.e. he does not implement his aspiration (ascent) in the details of his life so it is accomplished (descent). He is happy to remain where he is in a kind of static ascent, not completing the process. On the other hand, the true Aspirant is continually releasing his aspiration (Ascent) and manifesting it in the details of life (Descent). But there is more. Interestingly once you descend and apply the higher in the lower, you find new highers there to aspire for, as you perceive new ways to elevate your nature. Then growth is never-ending. Comfort Zone transcended. Eg in Gary Jacob’s book The Vital Difference he discusses how one man can make a great difference by improving one aspect of his life. In the example a man decides to conquer his lack of Punctuality. This is his ascent. The descent is to do all of the things necessary to make that happen. Eg create a firm time-bound to do list, garner the cooperation of his family, etc. etc. Well in the process of carrying out those details he realizes several other deficiencies in his being. Now he wants to conquer these as well! So he ascends to carry out each of these, which in turn requires their corresponding descents, ad infinitum. Now he has risen very rapidly in the company. In fact, changing it (and himself) forever. He has long ago passed his Comfort Zone, replacing it with his never-ending Evolution Zone.
