BFI Young Filmmakers in London have made an incredible music - TopicsExpress

BFI Young Filmmakers in London have made an incredible music film/video for my song London the Forest from my debut The Boy and the Audience album. I had the pleasure of meeting the director, actors and crew at the BFI Studio Theatre and performing live at their after-screening party. I find the film (made in just 6 afternoons!) to be very high quality on all accounts and sensitive to the atmosphere of my music, and I am thoroughly impressed. Congratulations to them all! In their words: When we first listened to the song ‘London The Forest’ and heard the title, we immediately started to think of the story we eventually decided to portray in this music video. We focused on the idea of London as a corporate forest and came up with the story of a man, who worked in a high commercial job and lost everything. To display the setting, we used bleak urban locations or locations synonymous with London, to present the misery and loneliness of the man. These locations were used to portray the mood, but we used symbolic objects, dropped by the protagonist, to show the story.
