BH members used cars (including Jeeps) and motorcycles to perpetrate their evil acts on Security Agents and Government establishments. Motorcycles were banned in Borno and Yobe, and restricted to one person per motorcycle, within specific period in a day, in Kano. Meanwhile, cars were not banned to date. One thing stands out clear here: Motorcycles are used by the Proletariat class while Cars and Jeeps are used by Petty-Bourgeois and Bourgeois class. Although both means of transportation (and earning a living in the Proletariat class) were used for evil purposes by the insurgents, the Proletariat class is taking the heat. It is not discrimination, but simply Class Struggle and Class Differentiation becoming more prominent. The most important fact is that the attacks have not ceased as a result of that decision, but thousands of youth are rendered jobless, further swelling the Reserve Army of Unemployed. You can do the math yourself and determine the effect that this decision is likely to have on the membership of Boko Haram. Then the insurgents used Nigerian Army uniform to block roads as if a Checkpoint was in place, only for the travelers to be massacred when they stop to be searched by the seemingly Nigerian Army. The insurgents used Nigerian Army uniform to call on all the members of a village to gather at a particular place to be addressed, only to be massacred when they so gathered. Moreover, even in the infamous Chibok abduction, the girls were deceived into getting on such vehicles because the insurgents were fully dressed in the Nigerian Army attire. Yet, to date, there is no call for, or intention of, banning the Nigerian Army from wearing their uniform, or a more logical decision of changing the uniform to a different color in the mean time. This can be ignored and continue business as usual since it is the peasants and the Proletariats that are at the receiving end of the massacres. The attacks continued. Then the female suicide bombers emerged, and Social Media was submerged into the debate about banning Hijaab. Religious inclinations, in many cases, determined the side one is to take. Religion as usual became the opium that blindfolded the populace from seeing any intended decision to ban Hijaab for what it really is: Class Struggle and Class Differentiation. It is a fact that super majority of those that used Hijaab among the Muslims are not from the Bourgeois Class. They are mostly from the peasants and Proletariats, and many from the Petty Bourgeois class. Religion once again served as a tool for the Bourgeois Class to keep the Other Classes divided and at war of words with each other. It did not occur to many that such decision would not have been contemplated had the female suicide bombers used an attire that is specific to the Bourgeoisies, just like to date no decision to ban the use of cars and Jeeps is being contemplated. And now with the DSSs statement that attires of Catholic sisters have been stolen, and they suspect the insurgents intend to use them for suicide missions, another round of debates and war of words among the Other Classes is set to begin. They are most likely to not see this for what it is once again. The Marxists surely have got a lot to do if a Socialist Nigeria is to ever emerge. Socialism and Nigerians are going in opposite directions.
