BHCHPs AmeriCorps/Community HealthCorps program started in 2006 and each year recruits dynamic individuals for 11 months of full-time national volunteer service. We attract individuals planning to pursue further education and/or a career in medicine, health care, public health, or policy. Our members are part of the Community HealthCorps®, the largest health-focused, national AmeriCorps program. Applications for BHCHP’s 2014-2015 program year will be accepted until April 18, 2014. Minorities and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Further, we are seeking veterans, military family members, and those who have been recently un- or under-employed to serve with our program.
