Born 5/21/14, more photos of this little girl on Whiskeys Facebook page. This beautiful AQHA son of Paddys Irish Whiskey is now standing to the public! With his stunning copper shine and unique blue eye, Mountain Whiskey not only has the looks, but a personality to die for as well. Whiskey has that amazing mind that people search for; he isnt easily rattled and will work all day. True to his sires legacy as a producer of top all-around performance horses, Whiskey is excelling in speed events after only a few months of training! Whiskey was started on cutting and reining when he was younger. However, due to his previous owners unfortunate health issues, Whiskeys training and breeding was put on hold for several years. After a long trailer haul and only four or five days of being on our place, Whiskey went to a two day roping clinic and worked like a champ! He is extremely cowy and we had several people comment that it was hard to believe he had never been roped off of. Whiskeys sire, Paddys Irish Whiskey, has sired champions in versatility ranch horse, reined cowhorse, cutting, reining, calf roping and team roping. Whiskeys dam, a daughter of Wyoming Doc, has proven herself as a producer of top cutting horses. Whiskeys maternal half-brother, Doublemint Cash, has NCHA LTE of $39,324.88. Doublemint Cash won the Open Classic at the 2008 All American Quarter Horse Congress Cutting Futurity and was the 2011 Nebraska High School Rodeo Champion in Girls Cutting. He placed 8th at the NHSFR. Whiskeys maternal half-sister, Bright Starlights, has NCHA LTE of $17,981.11. Bright Starlights was the 2012 Dakota Classic 4 yr old Open Champion. Vanilas Whiskey Girl, a daughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey, was the 2010 Hawki Barrel Futurity champion. Bring It On Guys, ridden by Sabra OQuinn, was 3rd in the 2013 Old Fort Days Futurity, earning $16,870. Bring It On Guys is out of a daughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey. This team also recently dominated all three go-rounds of the 5-States Breeders Futurity! Whiskey was started on the barrel pattern by NBHA World Champion Chloe Gray and is now being hauled and seasoned. Look for him at rodeos and barrel races soon!
