Starting next year all 179 Primary schools in WNB will receive EQUITV KITS which includes 40 inch flat L E D screen, DVD, Decoders for both Kundu and E M TV and Satelite dish and 2.5kva generator ir solar panel depending on the location of the school. I also had an.opportunity to open up a double class room in Mataruru Primary school and.gave the honour to the L L G President Hon Francis Kevin to open tge facility and committed to support the school with K50,000 worth of building materials of their choice in 2015 as community took own effort to build this class room and we assisted with Desks and water tank. I have committed K1m support to Bialla Secondary when I came tp.witness the award of Secondary School status to Bialla Secondary and I am sure Dr.Apelis was impressed with the developments in Bialla Secondary and I thank both the Deputy Secretary Dr.Apelis.and FAS Joe Logha for attending graduation.ceremony in all our secondary schools. For 2014 we have committed to build boys dormitory for K300,000 and funds are readily available, school is finalysing their design with Pacific Development Ltd for materials and their prefered contractor. Kimbe secondaray also have done excellent job by renovating their ICT Library and gave the honour to Dep Sec Dr.Apelis to open up the new e library with all the Tablets we purchased from Digicel. We will have 4 brand new 45m towers which will help to connect some of the rural areas which never had mobile communication with 3G network. Our aim os to connect atleast 80% WNB by end of 2016. I dearly missed Hoskin graduation due to urgent meeting with finance minister and Secretary in regard to our funds etc. But Chairman Education Hon.Victor Narere stood in for me and witnessed the graduation. I wish all the best for all those graduating Grade 10 and Grade 12 students for their future endeavors. We should be witnessing the construction of IEA TAFE College in partnership with IEA, WNBPG contribute 1.5m towards construction of TAFE College and our people can get Australian recognised Diplomas.in Kimbe with out needing to go to Port Moresby. I still.beleive the best is yet to come. All Glories to God. Hugs Sasi
