BIAWE is very excited to announce that our Board President, Melanie Gardin, is the recipient of the Ontario Brain Injury Association Volunteer of the Year award. This award is presented to a volunteer who has made outstanding contributions to improving the lives of those living with the effects of acquired brain injury. Ruth Wilcox, OBIA Executive Director presented Melanie with this award at OBIAs Annual General Meeting on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
