BIC PARTICIPATES IN THE TIME ADVENTURE CHALLENGE BIC has always been an active player in community development and social support. We recently participated in the Time Adventure Challenge that was held on Sunday 13 July 2014 at Mokolodi Nature Reserve organised by Time Projects in association with Rotary. The Adventure Challenge was a charity initiative which was aimed at raising funds for the Mochudi Resource Centre for the Blind. At Botswana Insurance Company (BIC) we make sure that what we do in our communities is relevant and more importantly, makes a real difference where its needed most. In helping Time Projects meet their goal of building extra accommodation and much improved facilities to accommodate the blind children, a team of BIC staff was part of this fun and challenging cycling and running event which will certainly go a long way in helping this children. Staff participation is a key driver in our corporate social responsibility(CSR) strategy therefore we continuously encourage all BIC staff to participate in this kind of events by sharing their time and skills for community development .
