BIG BIG BREKING NEWS D.EL.ED IS REPLACED BY B.EL.ED BTC is replaced by B. El. Ed. August 28, 2014 NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) decided to end 2 years BTC course from 2014-15 session. BTC will be replaced by four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) course across the country. Earlier BTC can be done only after completing graduation but now 10+2 passed students can take admission in B. El. Ed and become eligible for primary & elementary teacher in government schools. Honorable Supreme Court of India elected a committee in supervision of ‘Justice J. S. Verma’ to revolutionize education system and teacher eligibility courses. This committee provides 166 pages report to Supreme Court that includes various recommendations to enhance quality of teachers training. Supreme Court then formed a fact finding committee of NCTE and instructed to enforce these changes. NCTE fact finding committee under supervision of Dr. Poonam Batra decided to end Basic Training Course (BTC) from session 2015-16. NCTE ordered that session 2015-16 will be considered as Zero Session and admission in B. El. Ed course can be taken in session 2016-17. Below are some basic questions regarding this course. B. El.
