BIG MAGIC is coming!!! Dear Ones – I wrote a book for you! I mean – I very literally wrote a book quite specifically for YOU, my dearest Dear Ones. It’s a book based on many of conversations about creativity that we’ve been having on this Facebook page over the last few years. The book is called BIG MAGIC — and it’s a guide to living a more creative, courageous, and expansive life. It’s basically a manifesto. It contains everything that I believe about creativity. Some of you have watched my TED talks over the years about this subject, and all of that will be in the book…and more. BIG MAGIC reaches deeper into everything that I have learned over the past few decades about working with the mystery of inspiration — rather than working against it. How do I define a creative life? Any life that is guided more strongly by curiosity than by fear. How do you get around your fear, in order to live a more creative life? Well, that’s what the book is all about! And on September 22nd 2015, the journey shall begin! I’m super excited about BIG MAGIC — and super freaking excited about its gorgeous cover, which was created by Helen Yentus, the same brilliant woman who (10 years ago) designed the now iconic EAT PRAY LOVE cover. The lovely folks at Etsy (a community which embodies everything I embrace and believe about creativity) have partnered with me to release this BIG MAGIC announcement, and to reveal the cover for the first time.
