BIG NEWS, GUYS. A super-popular Japanese pop band is playing LA tonight and asked me to fill-in on bass. Apparently they have one more chance to impress these US record label dudes, who claim they arent American enough for a stateside tour, but their regular bass player was just deported. The bass lines are simple enough, but Im supposed to sing a complicated Japanese melody during the final song. Im thinking - instead of butchering their language - Ill just say tater salad over and over again. Hopefully it does the trick. Wish me luck!
