BIG NEWS TODAY!!!! So after some late night negotiations, THE GORILLAPHANTS are a real thing, with a pay structure. Heres how it works. A house band consisting of whichever members of the group can hold it down on a particular night brings their equipment, from drums, guitar, bass, vox, keyboard, lute, etc.. You are the ones getting paid!!!! And not just in money, members will get an honorary gorillaphant t-shirt, pitchers of beer, the gorillaphant initiation shot, and NOT a door percentage, but a DRAWER percentage, the more people drink, the more we make!!!! This is an open mic forum as well, if you would like to bring an instrument or vocal talents and jam with us, you reserve the right to do so, and so do your friends. Members of the gorillaphant house band are chosen to play on specific nights, in order to be a member you must have the ability to improv, learn on the fly, and be accepted in democratically by existing members. This is real, too many musicians cannot commit full time, well, commitment is now out of the equation. We have a home base, the first open mic will be hosted this Sunday night at the captains lounge, 1500 main st, Leominster, ma. An opening kick off act will be performed by me and a great friend. Bring your instrument, bring your talent. A house PA is in the works, but so lets say Sean Daley wants to be a member of the house band Sunday, I bring bass stuff, and a strat, drummer brings drums, singer/guitar player brings his setup, these three people make the band, anybody who walks in the door and signs up to jam has every right to do so. This isnt a joke, its a forum for musicians. Please share this information and tag friends in the area who would love to rock and make new friends and music!!!!!
