BIG SWAMP NEWS: Good afternoon from a very cold and windy Big Swamp.. Let me be the first to admit Im not loving this cold weather and certainly wasnt prepared for it this early..I got up this morning and started getting ready for church and realized I didnt have anything that was warm enough to wear. I havent changed over my closets yet, so I had to start digging in the cold weather closets for something not too wrinkled and suitable for the weather today.. I finally threw something together and what a pleasant surpise I got when I arrived at Church. My dear and beautiful friend Betty Russ was home from Chicago visiting her sister Shelby and all her family here. I always look forward to seeing Betty when she come home to visit and I of course sat with her and my other good buddies, Clara, Shelby, Nell and Emily.. We ladies held down the back row this morning at Antioch Baptist and yes we behaved..lol Now getting back to this cold weather!!! I do not enjoy it one bit because the warm weather is my friend in doing all the thing I love to do.. I didnt say extreme hot weather but Ill take it over the cold weather any day tho..Now Dan, he loves the cold weather but he has lived in it all his life in Minnesota until 10 years ago when we married and he moved south...I know its what you are use to and Im use to our southern weather which isnt as southern as it should be this time of the year..OK I had to find something to grumble over today and the weather it is...So everyone stay warm and happy today and until next time from the Big Swamp......
