BIG SWAMP NEWS:: Were home and what a beautiful weekend it has been celebrating my beautiful daughter (??) birthday.. Dont think for one minute Im giving up her age because you would all be doing the math and figure my age out. LOL Seriously my age doesnt bother me at all, just thankful to be kicking.. We had the best weekend together and Tara said this was the best one in a long time. Dan and I arrived Saturday at lunch and I had prepared a huge pot of her favorite soup Friday night to have for lunch. They all love my Big Swamp Mexican Soup and so do we.. I made my mind up that this was going to be a kitchen free weekend and it was. Tara and I took Addie to dance rehearsal and I got to see Addie perform her solo she will be doing at competition. It was so beautiful until I watched with tears of pride flowing down my face.. My girl was born to dance..I had given Tara the opportunity to choose the Restaurant of her choice for dinner and she made the best choice possible. She chose an upscale authentic Italian Restaurant complete with Piano bar and the food was to die for. I cant even pronounce it much less spell it, but trust me I will return..Tara was showered with many gifts and I have to share this with you. Steve bought her the most beautiful Bottle tree and gave me the job of keeping her in the house until he had it set up. I didnt have a clue what he was doing but I followed orders. lol. When he said we could come out, I dont know who was more excited over her tree, Tara or me. Ive been wanting one but havent found one of my liking but I loved hers. Steve then told me to walk around the corner of the house and my precious son in law had bought me a bottle tree too. My tree is so unique and in the shape of a flower. It is so beautiful.. I love my son in law!! It was a very special weekend for Dan and I and we always love spending it with my little family. I also want to thank all my friends and family that sent Tara birthday messages. That meant so much to her and to me too. So until next from the Big Swamp...
