BILPHAM: SPLA Searching For 100 Fugitive Troops Accused of Juba Massacre. #SouthSudan #SSudan SPLA spokesman, Col. Philip Aguer has told a news conference that the army is still searching for 100 soldiers who escaped from prisons in Juba in March last year. The troops who had been detained were suspected of having committed various crimes during the outbreak of violence in December 2013 ranging from, murder, rape, theft and looting. “The GHQs managed to arrest around 100 soldiers who were accused during the incident that followed the December 2013,” Col Philip Aguer said. “But unfortunately during the second fighting in March 2014, the prison was broken and all who were there escaped. The GHQs is still committed, and the current SPLA chief of stsff has issued an order that these soldiers should be found and arrested,” Col. Aguer said. NC © 2015
