BIRMINGHAM duo Jason Doyle and Ben Barker have both joined the line-up for team-mate Danny King’s Testimonial. The pair will both take to their home track for the event held at Perry Barr on Sunday, August 11 to celebrate ten years in British speedway for their colleague. Their additions bring the total of Birmingham riders up to four alongside King himself and Chris Harris. And King is delighted to have two in-form home favourites riding in his Testimonial. He said: “I’ve ridden with Ben for a long time now and he’s been a great team-mate. “We’ve had a really good partnership over the last couple of years and enjoyed riding together. “He’s an all-action rider who always creates some great racing. “Doyley has only been riding at Birmingham this season, but he’s really hit the ground running and done a great job for us. He’s a great team man and a good friend. “Both of the riders are on top form for us at the moment, and both are chasing after that No.1 spot in the team. “I’m delighted they have agreed to do my meeting, and the line-up is starting to shape up quite nicely now.”
