EVENTS: 1836: Colonel Pottenger sends report to his Government informinf that he was received on his arrival in Sindh by Governors of Thatta and Mugebin and Mirza Bakar was also present on the occasion. He further writes that he must keep secret the purpose of his visit to Sindh as it may create reaction amongst people. 1841: Ross Bell apprises his Government of steps taken by him. He writes that plunders of Bolan have been controlled, financial control of Sibi has been trusted to Cutchee and remission of its revenue will be presented to Shah Shuja and portion of it will be spent on establishment of military stations at Sibi and Dhadhar. 1939: Moulana Obedullah Sindhi announces formation of ‘Jamina Narbida Sindh Sagar Party’ in Karachi.Moulana Muhammad Sadik of Khada proved to be his right hand in this initiate. Both friends launched ‘Reshmi Roomal Tahreek’ in 1917 and Moulana Muhammad Sadik was sent to imprisonement in this regard. Both had spent major portion of their lives in freedom movement but, they were much late in formation of a new political party because Congress and Muslim League had already reached at gross-root level. 1947: It is announced that 5,00,000 Indian Muslim migrants have reached in Pakistan.
