BISD and Chick-fil-A partner to collect school supplies Are you ready for Chick-fil-A in Bastrop to open? Come a day before their grand opening, donate school supplies and earn a card good for your choice of one of three different chicken sandwiches. Bastrop ISD and Chick-fil-A will join together to collect school supplies for the Stuff the Bus campaign. All you have to do to earn a free chicken sandwich is bring four packaged new school supplies to the Bastrop Chick-fil-A. School supplies in demand include: packages of #2 pencils, scissors (round tip and pointed), markers (8 count), crayons (24 count), glue sticks and glue bottles. The event will be held on Wednesday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bastrop Chick-fil-A located in front of Lowes Home Improvement.
