BITTY SUNDAY UPDATE Well, Bitty had been doing really well, eating and drinking and plumping back up. This has been a few steps back this weekend. :( She stopped eating, and was hardly drinking. :( She was still waking me (and my neighbors) up about every hour, but I could discern nothing was amiss or missing. Me and my MS need sleep but I would do anything for her. Since she has decided she lives in my kitchen rather than my bedroom, every time she is hollering in the kitchen, I have to get out of bed, come to the kitchen and assess what she needs, and Ive got nothing but my own cold, and exhaustion. Meds - check. Wet Food - check. Dry Food - check. Turkey - check. Water - check. Brushing - about 10 times a day. Clean litterbox - check, check. So, I called the vet, and picked up more of the transdermal med that makes her hungry for the other ear, since her thyroid med is transdermal in the other, both 2 X a day. I called as they opened at 8, and picked it up at 10 am. She was back on the hungry med as soon as I got home, about 10:30. She did not eat all night no mater how I tried to entice her. The most wacky thing that happened was that my little spayed girl started spraying in the corner of my office. And right in front of me. I looked up and she was standing in the corner with her tail twitching. We all know that twitch. She has NEVER EVER done that before, and she did her little poops on the base of the pink tree and the cream tree. None of these things have EVER happened before. :-/ I was going to take her back to the vet this morning if she did not eat, but to my rejoicing she ate both wet food and turkey this morning. If anyone has any ideas why she would spray in the corner, I would love to hear your ideas of why. It wasnt stinky like when boy cats spray, and I Lysoled down the hard wood just to make sure there wasnt a trace to make her think she could do THAT again. Hoping for a good day …
