BJP AND RSS-JOB DIVISION BETWEEN THE TWO. PM Mody talks of governance and development while his mentor Mohan Bhagwat, RSS Chief and others like him, are busy in advancing the agenda of Hindutava. The core of this agenda is to have communal polarization in society by bullying and attacking minorities, espeecilly Muslims in order to demoralize them. This eminently succeeded in UP and BJP reaped rich political harvest. Aditya Nath. a BJP MP from Gorakhpur, now partys chief campaigner for coming assembly and Lok Sabha byelections in UP is busy for communal polarization by raising the issue of Love Jihad. Mohan Bhagwat has said that India is a Hindu Rashtra and all those live here are Hindus.Najma Heptullah, a migrant from the Congress to BJP and only Muslim member in Modys cabinet, has defended Bhaggwat on the ground that the term Hindu is being applied to all citizens as a label of national identitiy. What she says is against the Indian Constituion. Preamble of the Indian Constituion statesWe the people of india, having solemnly resolved to constitute India[Bharat in Hindi] a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic. Thus the national identity is Indian or Bhartiya and not Hindu. How can those who subscribe to Buddhism or Jainism be called Hindu since these belief systems emerged as a revolt against Sanatam Dharma. Similary Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Zorastrians etc. cannot be called Hindus. Modys silence on the aggressive posture adopted by Sanghis is intriguing. PM spoke against communalism in his Independence Day speech but his mentors are spreading communalism in the country. There seems to be a neat division of labour. Mody tries to impress people by talking of governance and development while Sanghis are busy in creating communal polarization. This explains Modys silence on the issue. He has not spoken a word against this hate campaign.
