BJP alleges MCC violation in Reasi KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 5: Soon after the announcement of the dates of elections by the Election Commission of India this morning, the BJP candidate for Udhampur-Doda constituency Dr Jitendra Singh has complained about violation of Model Code of Conduct on account of a series of inauguration programmes carried out by Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Aijaz Ahmed Khan in Arnas area of district Reasi. Speaking to the media, Singh said that inauguration programme took place at 1 PM while the Model Code of Conduct had already come into force at 10.30 AM. He informed that he had sought detailed information from Kabla Singh, senior BJP leader based at Reasi and the same was forwarded to the Election Commission of India and Deputy Commissioner Reasi by BJP office secretary Rajinder Sharma.
