BJP celebrates Accession Day To celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to the Union of India, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sharnarthi Cell organized a function at Gadigrah. The programme was graced by the presence of State General Seecretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State Vice President BJP Vivodh Gupta, and State Election Campaign Committee Secretary Sat Sharma (CA). The programme was held under the leadership of State Convenor of BJP Sharnarthi Cell Ashok Kumar Khajuria. Hundreds of people participated in the programme and paid respects to nation by unfurling national flag and paying respects to Maharaja Hari Singh. Congratulating the gathering on the eve of Accession day Ashok Koul said that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India and shall remain so. He said that the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India is full of final and majority of people living in the State including in Kashmir region support the stand of accession of State with India. He also stated that people who oppose such stand are anti nationalists and are trying to exploit the harmony between various segments of the society. Criticizing the anti nationalist approach of present NC-Congress coalition government in the State Vivodh Gupta said that BJP is the only party who celebrates this auspicious day will full grace. Sat Sharma congratulated the gathering on the occasion of Accession day and said that no political party who has ruled in the State since 1947 has never thought of giving adequate status to Sharnarthis(refugees) but BJP led government at the Centre under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi is planning to settle them within stipulated period of time. Ashok Kumar Khajuria thanked everyone who participated in the programme.
