BJP run India, Pakistan and South Asia The war cries can be heard, again. Question, is poor South Asia heading for a conflict, again, It can only be called stupid. For this region. for all boastful speeches, houses millions of the worlds wretched poor. And that poverty, behold, is largely a product of colonial interventions. For the new team in Delhi, lead by the charismatic Narendra Modi, sending out an image of the affirmative Hindu idiom, as opposed to the old image of Hindu Cows, there are challenges. Getting fixated in the dated Hindu, Muslim polarization shall be foolish. For there are larger issues to be tackled,that unfortunately is, if you call it that, post-colonial, Christian world order. Only difference is that the corporate bodies have taken over the mantle of empires. Are as vicious. The price is paid by the ecosystem, the larger mankind. For the senior most partner in South Asia, New Delhi, it is time to show humility. The smaller countries are no match for India, conflicts can only bring unnecessary turmoil. The newly elected BJP government did use the Hindu, Muslim divide is true. But is no more the central issue. For Pakistan, a theocratic state, which has become a victim to international power struggles, seeing its own people trained by others and sent against, power centres unpredictable, it is no party to deal with. Obviously India will have a burden on hand. For the larger global picture, of addressing global inequalities, healing touch for planet, India needs to be on another gear. What requires quality people at the helm of affairs in New Delhi. Prime Minister Modi needs to show the world he is serious about it, Has a team good enough to handle it. Indian electorate has given them a liberal mandate, the liberal Hindu is looking forward, so is the liberal world. That team is lacking now, What means the old stories shall repeat. It is time for an overhaul, putting in place people of eminence. Else.India will relapse, it is too big a country, too ancient, with many selfish groups within and without.
