BLACK AMERICANS SHOULD BE MENTORING BLACK AFRICANS In respect - TopicsExpress

BLACK AMERICANS SHOULD BE MENTORING BLACK AFRICANS In respect of racism, the perception of Black/African-Americans about American-Americans (Whitemen) is not different from that held by Black/African-Africans of their American brethren. Much as everybody is entitled to their choices and opinions, it is incontrovertible that acceptance of the unfamiliar is a hallmark of broadmindedness and maturity. Despite the predominant similarities in features and characteristics of the Black African and Black American, majority are those of the latter who cannot identify with us in Africa, even though they cannot change their skin color or do so at their own risk! Whatever the historical background Black Americans are the Biblical Joseph whose enslavement was destined to save his entire people. Until Black Americans help in the development of their African brethren, this real or perceived racial discrimination will continue. The formers involvement in bridging the development gap in Africa would be worth double of what the whiteman does and has been doing because a handshake from a kinsman is more reassuring to the uninformed. Stop worrying therefore about the whitemans errors or wickedness and prove your worth to earn your deserved respect; for, To whom much is given, much is expected. May God/Allah help us!
