*BLACK HISTORY FACT* Rudolph Fisher an African American writer and musician was born on this date in 1897. In 1920, Rudolph Fisher received a masters degree from Brown University. Rudolph Fisher was considered one of the major literary figures of the Harlem Renaissance. He wrote the first Black detective novel, The Conjure-Man Dies. Though most noted for his literary works, Rudolph Fisher was an accomplished musician.
