BLACK PRIVILEGE: GIVING UP MY BLACK CARD. I have enjoyed being black the past 44 years....but I think its time for me to give up my Black card....and see what other races will accept me.....I know white folks will deny me....But can I pass for Hispanic, Haitian, Jamaican or South African? But why now? Why give up my Black Card after 44 years?...Why not just continue to Enjoy the benefits of Black Privilege?.....Yes Black Privilege does in fact exist....you didnt know Black Privilege existed?.....Let me explain What Black Privilege is..... You most likely are using it everyday...but never had a clue you are using it. Black Privilege allows you to go through life and never ever take any responsibility for YOUR ACTIONS. You Blame every issue you have on SOMEONE ELSE!!...Cant get a JOB?..been Denied a Mortgage?..been Arrested by The police? ....these are all issues that you can blame on SOMEONE ELSE..(mainly white folks)...thats the benefits of having BLACK PRIVILEGE!!...The Black card the Keeps YOUR from being RESPONSIBLE for YOUR OWN ACTIONS....that kept YOU from getting a Job, Or a Mortgage or getting Arrested by The police! I must admit I have enjoyed using this card......but its time for me to give it UP! Most blacks will NEVER EVER give up their Black Cards as they LOVE using Black Privilege....it keeps them from facing the harsh reality, that they have failed at life because of their OWN ACTIONS. ~ Walter Lee Hampton II
