BLACKHEATH MEN ~ Saturday 9th August was a 4 Ball sponsored by Dick Russell and Ken Finch. We welcomed visitors from Kogarah.The winners were Ian Tonkin (16) and Ian Foulsham (19) with 45 points on a countback from Brad Langham (24) and Mark Blackburn (21) also on 45 points. Nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Rodney Tubbs at 76 cms, on the 5th to Peter Messer at 85 cms, on the 7th to Grahame Phillips at 200 cms, on the 13th to Ossie Antaw at 198 cms, on the 14th to Al Campbell at 400 cms and on the 17th to Mark Allen at 400 cms with the Propin of $116 remaining intact and jackpotting to next week. Balls went to 41 points on a countback. Next Saturday the men play a Single Stableford and 2 Ball stableford sponsored by Peter Kailofer and Roy Najjar. Don’t forget the Holden Scramble on the 29th ….plenty of times still available.
