Blackwater firmly believe in the philosophy “go big or go home” a statement that can clearly be seen and heard within their stadium worthy anthems and their tireless on going hard work and efforts to succeed since the inception of the band. Rising out of the ashes of well-respected underground artists, Blackwater have a clear unanimous vision of what needs to be done and just how to do it. Lead singer and guitarist Jay Bartlett formally of “Counterpoint & Cervello”, was initially approached by Per Karlsson and Peter Uven (former April Divine members), to start writing together and it did not take long for all three to realise the potential they had collectively on a commercial music and business level. Blackwaters first single By Day & By Night was released for Cancer Research in Europe to great avail and public support, The second single High Coast Heroes released in co-operation with Modo Hockey top SHL team instantly went to number one in Sweden, iTunes Rock chart and stayed for a full week, climbing up to number four in the overall charts.
