BLAINE: From MAYBERRY RFD to MAYHEM PDQ….MAKE THE PAIN STOP IN BLAINE- You can’t spell Blaine without “enable”. Folks in Blaine are about fed up with City Hall’s enabling of Billionaire Jim Clayton’s Bobbsey-twin big dogs- Delbert “Kennel Club”Morgan and Todd “the Bulldog”Claiborne. Like the jaws of a tightening vise, these two hold Blaine in a powerfully painful grip with Buffett beneficiary Jim Clayton slyly and stealthily twisting the handle. With a development disarray on one side of town and utter devastation developing on the other, the big dogs (who have each served 5 yr appointments on Mayor Patsy McElhaney’s zoning board) continue to manipulate the politics of zoning laws , rules and regulations in, as realtor Sonny ‘the land man” Mullins once advertised it - “the next Mayberry RFD.” Well, Mayberry RFD has now turned into Mayhem PDQ and the pain ain’t gonna stop soon. Claiborne is getting geared to rock Blaine no matter what Mayor McElhaney and County commish & reining quarry queen Elizabeth “Liz” White say. Big time blasting is on the clock with Blasting Zone signs being placed in town now and residents recently offered a “pre blasting survey” of photographing their homes inside and out by Claiborne contractors (so that property owners are certainly screwed in court). Whatta guy. Up to 1000 Claiborne Hauling Dumptrucks per week are coming to haul away the strip-mining booty off the former Fox farm site in the city. Mayor McElhaney and Commish White are gonna tell you there was” no other way”. That the city was sued and they were forced to “ to give Claiborne all he wanted” etc.,Blah, blah, blah. After all, brilliant resident philosopher, planning and zoning board member and (addled) alderman Jerry Tomahawkchop-shopChilders said on record about Claiborne’s plan, that - “a man can do with his land… what a man wants to do....... Yeah Chop, and evidently a feller can pay as little in property taxes as he wants, too (reportedly Claiborne pays around.$400.00 on a $1.6 million tract of land, which was later rezoned M-1 industrial- but after several years still paying agricultural.) Now tax assessor Johnny Morgan, where are you? But, back to Delbert Morgan for a bit,. Morgan faces jail time and huge restitution, unless Big Jim has a great bailout package planned. “Ohhh, that can’t happen, you say?” Au contraire. See these three operate on the Blaine Clayton Golden Rule principle.....which translated is -“he who has the Clayton gold , rules in Blaine. These three are gonna pain Blaine for a long time, because Mayor Patsy McElhaney not only invited them to ride shotgun, but gave them the keys (and a tank of gas) to drive the city car off the cliff.
