BLESSED, THANKFUL, PROTECTED! I was going to write BAD DAY. However, my daughter is alive, not broken (we dont think) just very sore. I am extremely sore but ALIVE, and the people that I hit are 100% fine. I have had many wrecks in my life BUT never had one be my fault. :-( Please dont ask what happened, because I simply dont know. I totaled my van today by coming to rest UNDER the bumper and rear-end of a double duly pick up with a car hauler bed. The truck drove away from the scene, and my van was towed away. NOW LET ME GIVE YOU MY TESTIMONY: GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Kayte was sitting crisscross applesauce in the rear passenger seat. EVERY air bag in the vehicle was deployed EXCEPT the rear passenger air bag. (the wreck was on the front & passenger side. GOD stopped the air bag from deploying as He was cradling His arm around my daughter. The passenger side front seat was broken in the impact. It was resting against the edge of the rear seat. NOT TOUCHING KAYTES LEGS. (both of her tibias should be shattered). The top of the van looks like an accordion, my windshield was shattered, my dash board broken, (my instrument panel was laying in my lap) I was knocked out. The side airbag gave me some protection BUT something still shattered my drivers side window. From the size of the knot and headache that I have, I imagine it was my head. THANKFUL for Gods hand of protection for EVERYONE in both vehicles THANKFUL for insurance. Side blessing Kaytelan Hoppes plus six guests have been asked to be VIP guest to the 1/21/15 Disney on Ice Treasure Love show in Indianapolis.
