BLIZZARD: Boston Logan International Airport was closed on January 27 following a winter storm that brought heavy snow and blizzard conditions to much of the northeastern US. About 26 inches of snow was recorded by 3pm local time in Boston, according to the National Weather Service. The airport was expected to reopen on January 28. Crews at the airport worked on January 27 to clear runways ahead of the reopening.
