BLM and public input for increased comfort/ welfare of equine prison camps : To: ereid ; nkornze Cc: janevelezmitchell ; gknapp ; stop_horse_cruelty ; publisher ; news Sent: Fri, Mar 28, 2014 11:14 am Subject: 2nd attempt: Eric: Shires feeder balls for mustangs shop.shiresequestrian/p/shires-ball-feeder Mr. Reid, The below offer may be a small token in the attempt of the public to assist with volunteerism for more humanity for our corralled formerly wild horses under your care. Yet, it is a gesture reaching out to the core values currently lacking at holding: more humanity, consideration of increased welfare and mostly: treating these animals with the respect they deserve. I ask that you consider my offer below and let some pens have a feederball, so kindly to be donated by Shires Equestrian. This small act of kindness could restore the faltering faith the public has in your care standards at PVC and emphasize on the promises issued by BLM for increased welfare standards. These animals deserve your involvement and this is not a difficult thing to do. As I explained, it could increase the human/horse bonding as it demonstrates a kind / enriching act to horses who have been robbed of anything they ever had. I await your reply. Sincerely, Monika Courtney
