BLUE GRASS AIRPORT ANNOUNCES BOARD OFFICERS FOR 2015 - Congratulations to Partner, Larry C. Deener from Landrum & Shouse LLP. Lexington, KY − January 20, 2015 − The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is pleased to announce it has appointed Larry C. Deener as Chair of the Board for 2015. W.V. Alford, Jr., USN, Ret. has been appointed as Vice Chair, Elizabeth Woodward, CPA has been appointed as Treasurer, and Doris P. Benson has been re-appointed as Secretary. Mr. Deener is a partner in the law firm of Landrum & Shouse, LLP in its Lexington Offices. He also serves as Chair of the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation. He has served previously as a member of The Aviation Museum of Kentucky Board of Trustees and as past president of the Lexington Philharmonic Society in 2001-02 and 2007-09. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve, holds a commercial pilot license with an instrument rating for single engine airplanes and is a glider pilot. Mr. Deener has been a member of the Airport Board since July 2010. Other members of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board include Roszalyn Akins, James Coles, Richard Hopgood, Kelley Sloane and Nancy Wiser. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s BlueGrassAirport. Its 10 volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and approved by the Urban County Council.
