BLUNT BUT SHARP 12. AREGBESHOLA, A MERCHANT OF LIES. I feel ashamed to be an indigene where Aregbeshola is a governor. Some APC apologists will surely go to town brandishing me as usual, to be a man with eyes but not seeing. It is a part of the political game. My APC colleagues on pages, are wanting to be read with four line diatribes. Sometimes a single line of incomprehensible statement with a picture/pictures uploads and ask commenters to write YES/NO. I make bold to say my specie is beyond that in writing and but based on data. On 5th January 2015, the governor in Osun State organized what he nicknamed Inter Religious Prayer for the year. The prayer session unfortunately turned to be a campaign session. He said many unprintable things about PDP. His terminal problems, albatross and of course better alternative. In the course of his hallucinations, he asked us in Osun to vote for his unrepentant, intolerant jackboot and religious bigot, Gen. Muhamadu Buhari. A never do well being, without any credible academic qualifications. I dare Buhari to retrieve his academic qualifications from the Secretary, Military Board and use it in advertorial in The Nation daily newspaper. I dont mind buying the paper and share the news on this page. Like Toronto, like Secretary, Military Board!!!!!!! Aregbeshola told his forced listeners (most were there because of honorarium and having no choice, being traditional rulers) that if we vote for Buhari come February 14/2015, all the sufferings the PDP government of Jonathan is inflicting on Osun, will be a thing of the past. He maintained that the federal government is strangulating Osun with funds that had been due to us. Among others he said the federal government under Buhari will pick up the bills he is spending on O-Meal, Roads construction, Remittances to the elderly etcetera, and that Otunba Omisore petitioned the election tribunal against his success at the August 9/2014, as a ploy to hold the party together to avoid total extinction of PDP in the State. On this I say a date that may be giving on 28/1/2015 by the tribunal for judgement will prove Aregbesholas propaganda or Omisores sense of responsibility to the good people of Osun State. Can Osun please ask this liar how much he collected from the federal government for the road stretch from Akoda to Old Garage and what he spent the fund on? It is to be noted that Prince Oyinlola government of PDP constructed this road but Aregbeshola collected the reimbursement!!!!! The O-Meal Aregbeshola is taking credits for started in the tenure of Prince Oyinlola when Osun was one of the six pilot States selected by the federal government. Osun State was the first to feed pupils in our primary schools in Nigeria in 2005 or thereabout. REVENUE ALLOCATION TO OSUN STATE FOR OCTOBER 2014: The month under review showed Osun LG collected #3, 290, 000, 404.24 (~#3.290B). Osun State local government is on number 12 out of 36 States in Nigeria and the third in the Southwest behind Lagos and Oyo States. Osun as a State, collected a total net amount of #2, 309, 135, 001.30 from the federation account and Osun State is one of the 34 States that were on the same financial pedestal of #2.5B - #3.5B. A total of #5,599,135,405.54 ( ~#5.6B). This dishonest government in Osun is keeping a joint account with the Local Governments. Aregbeshola told those who never worked in the civil service and those who do, but are to be seen and not to be heard that Lagos has a workforce of 47, 000 and Osun 30, 000. This is part of his civil responsibilities. The civil service is the engineroom of the government. If he likes let him dispense with their services. But before then, Aregbeshola should let us know how much of the #3.6B he claimed to use for salaries and wages out of the overbloated amount, and the percentage his political office holder are earning from the #3.6B. Or is he having a separate budget for the political office holders? DEBT PROFILE. In the nation as at October when allocation was remitted, Osun State was on number SIX in the order of most indebted States externally. Osun State will be on number THREE in Nigeria, if States like Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Lagos are removed from the list of debtors. Osun owed #56, 731, 569.59!!!!! (~56.7M). And please note that the first State collected ~#13.7B as 13% Share of Derivation without Contractual indebtedness and an external debt of ~#71.6M, while Lagos collected ~#6.3B VAT Allocation for the month under review with external debt profile of ~#212.1M. On CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION, Osun State occupied the not envious seat of number THREE in the order of the most indebted States in the nation and second to Lagos in the Southwest. On OTHER DEDUCTIONS, our dear Osun State was uncomfortably in the EIGHTH position in Nigeria. An objective financial analysis in the southwest, put Osun third after Lagos and Oyo States in external debt and second only to Ondo State. Dear Osun indigenes all debts are been deducted from the source. Respected people of our dear Osun State, this lieing governor, Rauf Aregbeshola, had been hiding these facts, but instead feeding us with his imaginative fallacies and garbages. Can Rauf Aregbeshola, the paymaster of APC apologists and D-Raufs controvert this?
