BM 12 Directors say they dont cast black people because they dont sell. The audacity of that statement. Whats the biggest selling genre of the last decade or more that even white people are flooding into? Recently online I saw how Japanese are even heavy into dance hall. Who has given the world some of the best selling fashion trends? Globally!! Who do they call when they want their brands to sell? Globally!! FOH. You know why TV is a no no unless portraying negative images? TV is the ultimate perception creator. With its reach It effectively determines how society will treat you regardless of laws even how WE treat eachother. Suggestive thinking. TV and Film alone could end racism ASAP. The negative images and how news is reported have subliminally created apathy in society when treated unfairly. A classic example is Michael brown. No criminal record but somehow widely broadcast as a thug. White kid blasts a whole school...He was a good boy we dont know what happened and the world understands. Kmt. Yes you might say well theres white people in ratchet shows nowadays along with black people, yeah but guess what, when that ratchet ass TV show finishes the next 30 TV shows coming on soon after that on that same station or across a thousand channels have white people as doctors lawyers teachers news presenters, interior decorator, chef etc neutralising the perception recently created so it doesnt linger and reinforce.....The next time theyre gonna see you?....Next week on the same ratchet ass show. Why they fear us on their TV? coz for every black truth theres a white lie. And im not talking about white lie as in innocent lie.( I dont even know why a white lie was determined as an innocent lie coz every time white men lie it costs lives.)And we cant have that now can we? Their empires depend on blood and lies. This is why I respect Nollywood as an accomplishment and I hope more will follow and endorse less European mind states they tend to unnecessarily reinforce sometimes. I know some of you say create your own then. Thats not the point tho. The point is of reinforcing racial bias to maintain white supremacy. Why do they have to do it? Another ones argument is well dont do the ratchet show show then. Well thats hard to tell s9meone coming from poverty and some money dangling in front of them. Exploitation. They just shouldnt do it and lie about who we are what we can and cant do. If they can make a dumb sport like golf likeable surely they can sell movies with black people kmt.
