BMS Contracts Supervisor - London/Thames Valley London £40 - £45k per annum & car & package The Role: The Contract Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining Building Management and Energy Systems of varying sizes and types. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical services, HVAC and controls is a necessity. A Contract Supervisor must ensure the customer / end user receives a quality service and system faults are resolved and communicated to customers as quickly and as efficiently as possible. A Contract Supervisor is also required to organise and distribute maintenance / reactive tasks throughout a team. Responsibilities: To organise and supervise planned, reactive and corrective maintenance tasks for an engineer or team of engineers / sub contractors. Organise all necessary materials, plant and equipment. Liaise and communicate with customer within timescales agreed / contracted. Track progress of contract / work and report accordingly. Carry out and document where necessary all tasks associated with the maintenance of a Building Management System including planned, reactive and corrective tasks. This includes issuing reports daily, weekly timesheets and quotes as per agreed deadlines. To meet the customer at the beginning and end of each site visit in order to confirm what works are to be done and what works have been completed. Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained. Be solely responsible in ensuring all engineers reports, quotes and timesheets are completed and issued in line with procedures. Ensure engineers reports are issued to customer by email and an explanation provided before leaving site. Be responsible in ensuring health and safety procedures and standards are followed on site. Ensure all Health and safety tasks are carried out and documentation (RAMS, PPE and Toolbox talks) created, filed, maintained and updated on site. Consider and review alternative maintenance methods to improve quality and costs. Line manage and mentor support engineers within the engineering team. Identify opportunities and quote small works and maintenance extras as required. Provide off-site / on-site training for internal and external service resource. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining building management systems A good understanding of a variety of mechanical and electrical building services. Trend Expert qualification would be an advantage but not essential Fluent with 1 or more building management systems enabling successful fault finding with that system(s). Minimum 2 years of experience of managing / supervising engineers. Demonstrable experience in producing and managing a programme of works. Experience in managing customer expectations and creating repeat business opportunities. Must be able to demonstrate commercial awareness.
