BMS Culture & Arts Activity July 29, 2014 Wednesday Batangas City Grounds The BMS Culture and Arts Committee in coordination with Jesus of Nazareth Hospital gained again their supremacy in the Batangas City Foundation Day 27th SUBLIAN FESTIVAL.. FLOAT PARADE COMPETITION when they bagged again the CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY for 3rd straight year since 2012. Dr. Nilo M. Alcoreza, the BMS President and Float Designer bested 30 entries from the city based on this years theme IDOL KITA KA PULE in celebration of the 150 years Birth Anniversary of Gat Apolinario Mabini. Criterias were based on originality, artistry, relevance to the theme, use of environment friendly materials and overall appeal. NOTE: Dr. Nilo Alcoreza also represented the City of Batangas when they hosted the ALA Eh Festival FLOAT Parade Competition last December 2013 and finished 2nd out of 20 Batangas Province LGUs.
