BMS Day of Prayer: Pray for Africa (3.00pm) Helping the Church to tackle poverty and injustice amongst some of the world’s poorest people. Around 30 mission personnel and 40 SPWs are working in eight countries in Africa. Pray for: • The BMS team working in church, justice and development projects in partnership with the Baptist Convention of Mozambique. Fiona Welsh trains Christian leaders in project management. Tim and Rachel Eagle, with their young family, are involved in agricultural projects. • The small Evangelical Church of Guinea witnessing to the gospel in a country where Islam and animistic beliefs are powerful forces. Remember Eric Harris Bafende who directs the medical centre and Sarah working in the community at Macenta. • Our partner in D R Congo, the Baptist Community of the Congo River, striving to offer healthcare and basic education to needy communities.
