BNP-Jamaat have resorted to their usual tactics of violence and killing once again. They killed an innocent teacher a few days ago in the name of their “rally”. Now they are burning buses and blowing bombs. This is exactly what they did a year earlier, when they deliberately set innocent people on fire, killing hundreds including 20 policemen. Even on election day they burned 582 schools and killed 26 people, including a Presiding Officer. These are not the actions of a political party. These are the actions of terrorists. Just so Khaleda and her corrupt son could try and come back to power. They are doing so now so that they can stop the war crimes trials. They are killing people to save war criminals. The country has been at peace for the last six years of the Awami League Government. The economy has been booming, we have made dramatic improvements in every facet of peoples’ lives including healthcare, education, infrastructure and Digital Bangladesh. Everyone’s income has more than doubled and poverty has been halved. Bangladesh has won international election and award one after the other. Terrorists have been stopped and finally, after 40 long years war criminals are being punished. The only people unhappy are the war criminals and terrorists. These are the Jamaat and BNP. Please join me in saying no to war criminals and terrorists. Please join me in saying no to BNP-Jamaat. They did not succeed in 1971, they did not succeed even after 1975, they did not succeed in 2013 and they will certainly not succeed now. Joy Bangla! Joy Bangabandhu! বিএনপি-জামায়াত তাদের স্বভাবজাত অপকৌশল হিসেবে আবারও হত্যা এবং সহিংসতার পথ অবলম্বন করেছে। তারা মিছিল এর নাম করে কিছুদিন আগে একজন নিরপরাধ শিক্ষককে হত্যা করলো। এখন তারা বাস পুড়াচ্ছে এবং বোমা হামলা করছে। এই একই কাজ তারা করেছিলো ঠিক এক বছর আগে, তখন তারা ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে নিরপরাধ মানুষের গায়ে অগ্নিসংযোগ করছিলো, বিশজন পুলিশসহ শতাধিক লোক হত্যা করেছিলো। এমনকী নির্বাচনের দিন তারা ৫৮২ টি স্কুল জ্বালিয়ে দিয়েছিলো এবং একজন প্রিজাইডিং অফিসারসহ হত্যা করেছিলো ২৬ জন মানুষকে। এগুলো কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের কাজ হতে পারে না। এগুলো হলো সন্ত্রাসীদের কাজ। এর মাধ্যমে শুধু খালেদা ও তার দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত ছেলে ক্ষমতায় ফিরে আসতে যেন চেষ্টা করতে পারে। এখন আবার তারা এসব করছে যেন তারা যুদ্ধাপরাধের বিচার বন্ধ করতে পারে। তারা যুদ্ধাপরাধীদের বাঁচাতে মানুষ হত্যা করছে। গত ছয় বছর ধরে আওয়ামী লীগ সরকারের সময়ে মানুষ শান্তিতে রয়েছে। অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি হচ্ছে, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা, শিক্ষা, আবকাঠামো এবং ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশসহ মানুষের জীবনমানের প্রতিটি ধাপ উন্নয়ণে আমরা চমকপ্রদ উন্নতি ঘটাতে পেরেছি। মানুষের মাথাপিছু আয় দ্বিগুণ হবার পাশাপাশি দারিদ্রতা অর্ধেক হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশ একের পর এক আন্তর্জাতিক নির্বাচন জয় ও পুরস্কার লাভ করে চলেছে। জঙ্গিবাদ দমন করা হয়েছে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত দীর্ঘ ৪০ বছর পর যুদ্ধাপরাধীদের সাজা দেয়া শুরু হয়েছে। শুধুমাত্র যুদ্ধাপরাধী এবং সন্ত্রাসীরা অখুশি হয়েছে। এরা হলো প্রধানত জামায়াত এবং বিএনপি। অনুগ্রহ করে আমার সাথে সমস্বরে যুদ্ধাপরাধী এবং সন্ত্রাসীদের না বলুন। অনুগ্রহ করে আমার সাথে একই সাথে না বলুন বিএনপি-জামায়াতকে। তারা ১৯৭১ সালে সফল হতে পারেনি, তারা ১৯৭৫ সালের পরও সফল হয়নি, সফল হয়নি ২০১৩ সালে এবং অবশ্যই এইবারও তারা সফল হবে না। জয় বাংলা! জয় বঙ্গবন্ধু!
