BO TIE GETS BATTED AWAY... Sandhill Crane Park - The Big Apple Beavers(9-3) lost 15-14 to the Sons of Pitches in a nail-biter. Both teams traded blows throughout the game, going back and forth with the lead. Trailing by three runs in their final at bat, the Big Apple Beavers scored two runs and had the tying and winning runs on base with Big Bo at the plate. Bo turned on a inside pitch and sent it 365ft over the left field fence. In D-league the Big Apple boys would be enjoying a walk-off win. However, this was an E-league game and the Beavers had already hit their home-run limit. The result was a inning ending homer and a Sons of Pitches walk off victory. Ex-Beaver Ryan Koozie went 2/4 with a sac fly against his old buds. It was bitter sweet, Ive always enjoyed playing for the Beavers, said Ryan. Those guys(Beavers) never quit and always have fun win or lose.
